The scene is credited to G.H. McCord and published by L. Prang & Co. of Boston, with a copyright imprint of 1887 along the bottom edge. Louis Prang was a leading Victorian chromolithographer known for his Christmas and holiday imagery, and this print reproduces one of those late nineteenth-century works.
